The Department of Art at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure track position in Graphic Design at the rank of Assistant or Associate professor. Position begins August, 2006. Seeking excellent designer/educator to teach in dynamic, professionally-oriented graphic design program. Responsibilities: teach 3 courses/semester to selective admission BA and BFA students in comprehensive art department; maintain creative/professional achievement; share oversight of area and facilities; service to the university and community. Requirements: MDes or MFA in design discipline; experience and expertise in applied and theoretical design with strengths in digital and traditional media. Candidates with college-level teaching experience preferred. Northern Kentucky University is a 14,000-student metropolitan campus located in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area.
